Kale Salad

Kale                            a little bigger than bite sized pieces, hand torn

Beets                          canned/cooked and cut in strips, or if raw, shredded

Red cabbage           shredded/chopped

Walnuts                   chopped

Apples                    eighths, then sliced

Dried Cranberries, orange infused, from Sprouts

(Dressing)

Olive oil

Brown sugar and/ or maple syrup

Balsamic/apple cider/Brags – a little of each

Grainy mustard

Cinnamon

Black pepper

Salt

The longer the salad marinates, in the fridge, the more flavorful it becomes. It will easily keep a week if it is refrigerated.
